Being fit and staying well is an important part of life at an ElderSpan-managed residence. There have been a number of studies in recent months proving even small amounts of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity has very positive affects on the mental and physical well being of older adults. Whether it’s taking a wellness class, joining a walking club, using a NuStep, dancing or gardening, staff ensures there are a number of fitness opportunities available so everyone can do something, no matter their mobility level.
